Talk:Release 0.5 Roadmap
From Habari Project
To Do list for 0.5
This is merely a list of suggestions. We've set a target date of May 15 for 0.5 so we'll want to keep that in mind.
- Working ACL System
- Podcast capabilities. (It would be a bit silly for us to be a Gold-Level sponsor for PodCamp Ohio and not be able to handle podcasts.)
- Default themes. Assuming that the theme hooks and stuff are somewhat stable, I think we should put out a call for submissions and then have a community vote on what themes should be included in core. (#77)

I think we need to be clear about what we want from additional themes. My ideal would be to have a simple theme that is very well designed and documented that theme developers can use as a base. michaeltwofish 00:08, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
- A lightweight, JQuery-based WYSIWYG editor as a core plugin. jwysiwyg is a good candidate if we can get media silos working. Resizing would be a bonus.
What sort of "Plugin improvements"? michaeltwofish 03:32, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
I've slashed this back to two major items that are not described in detail. I believe a roadmap is useful, but I think all we should have is two or three big ticket items that we can focus on. Otherwise we risk duplicating Trac, adding ambiguity, and putting things in the roadmap that never get done. michaeltwofish 23:13, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
I think we need some more ponies too --MattRead 04:51, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
